Vehicle Interest Form

Steve Van Vlaenderen, together with Darlene Hildebrand, is launching a new photography-based book project that explores the connection between automobiles, art, and historic landscapes. This upcoming publication will be very different from Steve’s first book, Vanishing Wheels, while continuing his passion for documenting vehicles that carry stories, character, and history.

This project will feature select vehicles photographed in carefully chosen outdoor settings, using natural backdrops that complement both the automobile and the surrounding landscape. The goal is to create a visually striking collection that celebrates the artistry of automotive design alongside meaningful locations.

At this stage, Steve is building awareness and gathering a list of interested vehicle owners who may wish to participate. The project is expected to ramp up in the spring of 2026. If you own a unique or interesting vehicle, or know of a location that would make a strong photographic backdrop, we would love to hear from you.

There is no cost to take part in this project. Participation is voluntary, and the only optional cost would be if you choose to purchase a professional print of your final photograph once completed.
